Andrei Gelianov was born in Russia in 1987. Trained in philology and literary studies, he emigrated in 2022. He is the author of the novel *The Piers, or The Machine of Secrets* and two collections of experimental short stories. He was shortlisted for the Andrei Bely Prize in 2024.
